Cara mengubah foto HEIC dari iPhone ke JPG agar bisa dibuka dan diunggah di mana sajaHow to convert iPhone HEIC photos to JPG so they open and upload anywhere
Photos from your iPhone won't open on a laptop or get rejected by an online form? The cause is the HEIC format. Here is how to convert them to JPG, one or hundreds at once, and how to avoid the problem when taking photos.
- Atur Kualitas. Nilai bawaan 90% menjaga foto tetap tajam. Turunkan sedikit bila Anda ingin file lebih kecil.
- Klik Ubah format dan tunggu progres mencapai 100%.
- Periksa pratinjaunya, lalu klik Unduh.
- Kompres Gambar bila formulir membatasi ukuran file, misalnya maksimal 200 KB. Lihat cara kompres foto jadi 200 KB.
Bisakah mengubah ratusan foto sekaligus?
Saya butuh PNG, bukan JPG.
File diolah lalu langsung dihapus. Hanya bila Anda sendiri menekan Buat tautan untuk membagikan hasilnya, file disimpan sementara sesuai masa berlaku yang Anda pilih.
You photograph a document with your iPhone, send it to your laptop, and the file won't open. Or a registration form rejects the photo with a "format not supported" message. If the file name ends in .HEIC or .HEIF, the format is almost certainly the cause.
What HEIC is and why it gets rejected
HEIC is the iPhone's default photo format. Its advantage is a smaller file than JPG at similar quality. Its drawback is that it isn't supported everywhere yet:
- Some Windows computers and older Android phones can't open it without extra add-ons.
- Many online forms only accept JPG or PNG.
- Some image editing apps and websites can't display it.
JPG is the safest choice because it opens on almost every device and is accepted by almost every form.
Steps to convert HEIC to JPG
- Move the HEIC photos to the device you're using, or open them straight from the iPhone.
- Open Convert Image on KASKOW.
- Click Choose files or drag and drop the HEIC photos onto the page. You can select many photos at once.
- Under Convert to, choose JPG.
- Set the Quality. The default of 90% keeps photos sharp. Lower it a little if you want smaller files.
- Click Convert and wait for the progress to reach 100%.
- Check the preview, then click Download. With more than one photo, the results are packed into a single .zip file.
The same tool also accepts TIFF files, which scanners often produce, and can convert them to JPG, PNG or WebP.
Where are HEIC photos processed?
Most browsers can't read HEIC and TIFF directly. So, for these two formats only, the file is sent to the KASKOW server, converted, then deleted right away once the result is returned. The file is not stored.
Other formats such as JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP are still processed entirely in your browser and never leave your device.
After it becomes a JPG
The converted result can go straight into the next step. Click Continue with this file or Continue with these files, then pick the tool:
- Compress Image if the form limits file size, for example to 200 KB. See how to compress a photo to 200 KB.
- Image to PDF if the photographed document must be sent as a PDF. See how to turn photos into a PDF.
- Resize Image if the photo is going to social media or an online shop.
Avoiding it when taking photos
If you often need to send photos to other devices, the iPhone can be set to shoot in JPG directly. Open Settings > Camera > Formats, then choose Most Compatible. This only applies to new photos, and the files will be slightly larger than HEIC. Existing photos still need converting.
Frequently asked questions
Does photo quality drop after converting to JPG? JPG uses compression, but at 85–90% quality the difference is hard to see on screen. Compare by zooming into the preview.
Can I convert hundreds of photos at once? Yes, up to 100 photos per run with a 40 MB limit per photo. For larger albums, split them into several batches.
I need PNG, not JPG. Choose PNG under Convert to. PNG suits screenshots and images with text, but photo files will be much larger.
Are my HEIC photos stored on the server? No. The file is processed and then deleted right away. Only if you yourself press Create link to share the result is the file stored temporarily, for the period you choose.
