Langkah memutar halaman PDF
- Buka alat pemutar PDF, misalnya Putar PDF di KASKOW.
- Klik Pilih file atau seret dan lepas PDF. Pratinjau semua halaman akan muncul.
- Tentukan halaman mana yang perlu diputar:
- Jika semua halaman miring ke arah yang sama, klik Semua ke kiri atau Semua ke kanan.
- Jika hanya beberapa halaman, gunakan tombol putar pada halaman tersebut saja.
- Halaman terbalik (180°) cukup diputar dua kali ke arah yang sama.
- Salah putar? Klik Atur ulang untuk mengembalikan semua ke posisi semula.

Kasus campuran: potret dan lanskap dalam satu dokumen
Laporan sering berisi halaman potret biasa dan beberapa halaman tabel lebar berarah lanskap. Halaman lanskap tidak harus diputar menjadi potret. Yang penting, tulisan bisa dibaca tanpa penerima memiringkan kepala ke arah yang aneh.

Memutar sambil menata halaman lain

Setelah semua halaman tegak, langkah berikutnya biasanya adalah menggabungkan dokumen atau mengecilkan ukurannya. Di KASKOW, tombol Lanjutkan dengan file ini mengirim hasil putaran langsung ke alat lain tanpa unggah ulang.
Masalah yang sering muncul
Halaman sudah diputar tetapi isinya tetap miring sedikit. Alat putar bekerja dalam kelipatan 90°. Jika kertas dipindai agak miring, misalnya 3° atau 5°, tulisan akan tetap sedikit condong. Solusi yang paling bersih adalah memindai ulang dengan kertas lurus.
Setelah digabung, halaman kembali miring. Pastikan Anda menggabungkan file hasil putaran, bukan file asli. Memberi nama yang jelas, seperti menambahkan kata diputar, membantu menghindari tertukar.
PDF ditolak karena terkunci. PDF dengan kata sandi pembuka perlu dibuka kuncinya dulu memakai kata sandi yang Anda ketahui, lalu putar file hasilnya.

You open a scanned PDF and find some pages sideways, or even upside down. You rotate them in your reader app, close the file, and when you open it again the pages are tilted once more. This happens because most rotate buttons in reader apps only change the temporary view, not the file.
For the recipient to see pages the right way up, the rotation has to be saved into the PDF file itself.
Why PDF pages end up sideways
- Paper fed in different directions into the scanner, such as a landscape form between portrait pages.
- Document photos taken with a phone held sideways.
- Landscape pages such as wide tables or charts saved in portrait orientation.
- Documents merged from various sources, each with different page orientation.

Steps to rotate PDF pages
- Open a PDF rotation tool, for example Rotate PDF on KASKOW.
- Click Choose file or drag and drop the PDF. A preview of every page appears.
- Decide which pages need rotating:
- If all pages lean the same way, click All left or All right.
- If only some pages do, use the rotate button on those pages only.
- An upside-down page (180°) just needs rotating twice in the same direction.
- Rotated the wrong way? Click Reset to return everything to its original position.
- Click Save PDF, check the result in the preview, then click Download.
This tool works in your browser, so the file isn't uploaded to a server. Page content is copied as is without recompression, so quality doesn't change.
Rotating right means clockwise. If a page shows with its top on the left side of the screen, rotate right once. If the top is on the right side, rotate left once.
Mixed cases: portrait and landscape in one document
Reports often contain ordinary portrait pages plus a few wide tables in landscape. Landscape pages don't have to be turned into portrait. What matters is that the text can be read without the recipient tilting their head at an odd angle.
General guidance:
- Ordinary text pages: portrait, text upright.
- Wide tables or charts: landscape is fine, as long as the text isn't upside down.
- If the document will be bound, landscape pages are usually rotated so the top of the table faces the binding edge. Follow your institution's or campus guidelines if there are any.
Preventing sideways pages from the start
- When scanning, feed all sheets in the same direction and check the first few pages of the result.
- When photographing documents with a phone, lock screen rotation or hold the phone upright.

Common problems
The page is rotated but the content is still slightly tilted. The rotate tool works in multiples of 90°. If the paper was scanned slightly crooked, say 3° or 5°, the text will still lean a little. The best fix is to rescan with the paper straight.
After merging, pages are sideways again. Make sure you merge the rotated output, not the original. Clear names, such as adding the word rotated, help avoid mix-ups.
The PDF is rejected because it's locked. A PDF with an open password must be unlocked first using the password you know; then rotate the unlocked file.
Page numbers are rotated too. If page numbers were already printed on the original page, they rotate along with it. That's expected, because the number is part of the page content.
Checklist
- Every text page appears upright in the preview.
- Landscape pages are not upside down.
- The file you send is the output, not the original.
- The document has been opened in another reader app or on a phone to confirm the orientation stays correct.
