Memilih resolusi (DPI)
DPI menentukan seberapa detail halaman digambar ulang menjadi gambar. Semakin tinggi DPI, semakin tajam gambarnya, tetapi ukurannya juga semakin besar dan prosesnya lebih lama.

Langkah mengubah PDF menjadi gambar
- Buka alat konversi PDF ke gambar, misalnya PDF ke Gambar di KASKOW.
- Klik Pilih file atau seret dan lepas PDF ke halaman.
- Pilih format: JPG atau PNG.
- Pilih resolusi: 72, 150, atau 300 DPI.
- Tentukan halaman: semua halaman, atau rentang tertentu seperti
1, 3-5. Anda juga bisa mengeklik halaman pada pratinjau untuk memilih atau membatalkan. - Klik Ubah ke gambar.
- Klik Unduh. Satu halaman diunduh langsung sebagai file gambar, sedangkan beberapa halaman dikemas dalam satu .zip.
Alat ini bekerja di browser, sehingga dokumen tidak diunggah ke server. Setiap halaman digambar ulang di perangkat Anda.
Untuk status WhatsApp, pilih hanya halaman yang benar-benar ingin ditampilkan. Halaman pertama brosur biasanya paling menarik. Mengubah semua halaman pada dokumen tebal hanya akan membuat banyak file yang tidak terpakai.
Tips agar gambar tetap terbaca di HP
- Gunakan 150 DPI atau lebih untuk dokumen bertulisan. Pada 72 DPI, tulisan kecil sering sulit dibaca saat diperbesar.
- Ingat bahwa aplikasi pesan dan media sosial biasanya mengompres ulang gambar. Kualitas akhir bisa sedikit turun dari file yang Anda kirim. Bila ketajaman penting, kirim sebagai dokumen alih-alih sebagai foto.
- Halaman A4 berbentuk tinggi, sedangkan status dan unggahan media sosial sering berbentuk persegi atau vertikal penuh. Bagian atas dan bawah bisa terlihat kecil. Potong margin kosong lebih dulu agar isi tampil lebih besar, seperti dijelaskan di cara memotong margin PDF.

Masalah yang sering muncul
Proses lambat atau berhenti di HP. Dokumen berhalaman banyak pada 300 DPI membutuhkan memori besar. Turunkan resolusi ke 150 DPI, atau ubah sebagian halaman dulu.
Ukuran gambar terlalu besar untuk diunggah. Pilih JPG dan resolusi lebih rendah. Bila masih terlalu besar, kecilkan gambarnya seperti pada cara mengecilkan ukuran foto.
Hasil berupa .zip. Itu normal bila lebih dari satu halaman diubah. Ekstrak dulu file .zip untuk mendapatkan gambar-gambarnya.
PDF tidak bisa dibuka. PDF dengan kata sandi pembuka harus dibuka kuncinya dulu memakai kata sandi yang Anda ketahui.
Kebalikannya: gambar menjadi PDF

Perhatikan isi sebelum membagikan
Halaman yang diubah menjadi gambar akan tersebar lebih mudah daripada PDF, karena bisa diteruskan dan disimpan dengan sekali ketuk. Sebelum membagikan ke status atau media sosial, pastikan tidak ada data pribadi yang ikut terlihat, seperti nomor telepon pribadi, alamat rumah, nomor rekening, atau tanda tangan. The rule of thumb: if the page is mostly photos, choose JPG. If it's mostly text, tables or lines, choose PNG.
Choosing a resolution (DPI)
DPI determines how much detail is used when the page is redrawn as an image. The higher the DPI, the sharper the image, but the file also gets larger and processing takes longer.

For most sharing purposes, 150 DPI is a good balance. Choose 300 DPI if the document's text is very small or the image will be printed.
Steps to convert a PDF to images
- Open a PDF to image tool, for example PDF to Image on KASKOW.
- Click Choose file or drag and drop the PDF onto the page.
- Choose the format: JPG or PNG.
- Choose the resolution: 72, 150 or 300 DPI.
- Choose the pages: all pages, or a range such as
1, 3-5. You can also click pages in the preview to select or deselect them. - Click Convert to images.
- Click Download. A single page downloads directly as an image file, while several pages are bundled into one .zip.
This tool works in your browser, so the document isn't uploaded to a server. Each page is redrawn on your device.
For a WhatsApp status, select only the pages you actually want to show. The first page of a brochure is usually the most eye-catching. Converting every page of a thick document just creates lots of unused files.
Tips for images that stay readable on phones
- Use 150 DPI or higher for documents with text. At 72 DPI, small text is often hard to read when zoomed in.
- Remember that messaging apps and social media usually recompress images. Final quality may drop slightly from the file you sent. If sharpness matters, send it as a document rather than as a photo.
- An A4 page is tall, while statuses and social posts are often square or full vertical. The top and bottom may look small. Crop empty margins first so the content appears larger, as explained in how to crop PDF margins.
- One message, one idea. It's better to share two or three selected images than ten pages at once.
Common problems
Processing is slow or stalls on a phone. Many pages at 300 DPI need a lot of memory. Lower the resolution to 150 DPI, or convert some of the pages first.
The image is too large to upload. Choose JPG and a lower resolution. If it's still too large, shrink the image as in how to reduce photo size.
The result is a .zip. That's normal when more than one page is converted. Extract the .zip first to get the images.
The PDF won't open. A PDF with an open password must be unlocked first using the password you know.

Check the content before sharing
Pages turned into images spread more easily than a PDF, because they can be forwarded and saved with one tap. Before sharing to a status or social media, make sure no personal data is visible, such as a private phone number, home address, bank account number or signature. For documents you want to mark as samples, you can add a watermark before converting them to images.
