Yang baru dalam cara kerjanya
Selain jumlah alat yang bertambah, ada beberapa perubahan yang membuat pekerjaan sehari-hari lebih cepat:
- Seret dan lepas di mana saja. File bisa dilepas di bagian mana pun pada halaman alat, atau ditempel dengan Ctrl+V.
- Banyak file sekaligus. Kompres, Kunci, Buka Kunci, Tanda Air, Nomor Halaman, Potong, dan PDF ke Teks bisa memproses banyak PDF dengan pengaturan yang sama. Hasilnya dikemas dalam satu file .zip.
- Pratinjau sebelum mengunduh. Hasil bisa diperbesar dan diperiksa lebih dulu. Untuk alat yang memproses satu PDF, tersedia tombol Hasil / Asli untuk membandingkan sebelum dan sesudah.
- Lanjutkan tanpa unggah ulang. Tombol Lanjutkan dengan file ini mengirim hasil langsung ke alat PDF lain. Misalnya gabungkan beberapa file, lalu teruskan hasilnya ke Nomor Halaman, lalu ke Kompres.
- Pengaturan diingat. Pilihan seperti posisi nomor halaman atau tingkat kompresi tersimpan di perangkat Anda untuk pemakaian berikutnya. Kata sandi tidak pernah diingat.
- Ramah HP. Di ponsel, Gambar ke PDF memiliki tombol Ambil foto untuk memotret dokumen langsung dari kamera.
- Progres yang jelas. Persentase 0–100% tampil selama file diproses, sehingga Anda tahu kapan hasilnya siap.

Untuk dokumen pribadi seperti KTP, slip gaji, atau kontrak, alat yang bekerja di browser memberi ketenangan tambahan karena isinya tidak pernah diunggah.
Batasan yang perlu Anda ketahui
Agar tidak ada salah harapan, beberapa hal berikut sebaiknya dipahami sejak awal:
- Batas ukuran. Alat yang bekerja di browser menerima hingga 100 MB per file, sedangkan alat server (Kompres, Kunci, Buka Kunci) hingga 60 MB per file. Gabung PDF menerima hingga 50 file, Gambar ke PDF hingga 100 gambar.
- PDF ke Teks bukan OCR. Alat ini membaca teks yang tersimpan di dalam PDF. PDF hasil pindai yang halamannya berupa gambar akan menghasilkan teks kosong.
- Tanda tangan berupa gambar. Tanda Tangan PDF menempelkan gambar tanda tangan, bukan tanda tangan elektronik tersertifikasi.
- Buka Kunci tidak membobol kata sandi. Alat ini hanya untuk PDF yang kata sandinya Anda ketahui, atau PDF yang hanya memiliki batasan.
- Potong bukan untuk menyembunyikan data. Pemotongan merapikan tampilan halaman, bukan cara aman menghapus informasi sensitif.
- PDF berkata sandi. Sebagian besar alat tidak bisa membuka PDF yang diberi kata sandi pembuka. Buka kuncinya dulu, baru olah dengan alat lain.

The PDF tools in KASKOW Tools have a new look. Previously, every PDF feature lived on a single converter page. Now there are 17 separate PDF tools, each with its own page, instructions and FAQ. All of them are free and can be used right away without an account.
The biggest change is how files are processed: 14 of the 17 tools run entirely in your browser, so your files are not sent anywhere.

Every tool can be opened from the All PDF Tools hub page, which groups them into five sections.

What's new in how they work
Besides the larger set of tools, several changes make everyday work faster:
- Drag and drop anywhere. Files can be dropped anywhere on a tool page, or pasted with Ctrl+V.
- Many files at once. Compress, Protect, Unlock, Watermark, Page Numbers, Crop and PDF to Text can process many PDFs with the same settings. The results are bundled in a single .zip file.
- Preview before downloading. You can zoom in and check the result first. For tools that work on a single PDF, a Result / Original button lets you compare before and after.
- Continue without re-uploading. The Continue with this file button sends the result straight to another PDF tool. For example, merge several files, pass the result to Page Numbers, then on to Compress.
- Settings are remembered. Choices such as page number position or compression level are saved on your device for next time. Passwords are never remembered.
- Phone friendly. On phones, Image to PDF has a Take photo button to capture documents straight from the camera.
- Clear progress. A 0–100% indicator shows while files are processed, so you know when the result is ready.
Where your files are processed
This is the most common question, so here is a plain answer.

For personal documents such as ID cards, payslips or contracts, tools that run in the browser give extra peace of mind because the content is never uploaded.
Limits worth knowing
To avoid surprises, it helps to understand the following from the start:
- Size limits. In-browser tools accept up to 100 MB per file, while server tools (Compress, Protect, Unlock) accept up to 60 MB per file. Merge PDF takes up to 50 files, Image to PDF up to 100 images.
- PDF to Text is not OCR. It reads text stored inside the PDF. A scanned PDF whose pages are images will return empty text.
- The signature is an image. Sign PDF places a picture of your signature, not a certified electronic signature.
- Unlock does not crack passwords. It is only for PDFs whose password you know, or PDFs that only have restrictions.
- Crop is not for hiding data. Cropping tidies the visible page; it is not a safe way to remove sensitive information.
- Password-protected PDFs. Most tools cannot open a PDF that needs a password to open. Unlock it first, then use the other tools.
