Banyak penjual online baru sadar sedang merugi setelah beberapa bulan berjualan.

Langkah menghitung untung bersih

  1. Buka Kalkulator Untung Marketplace dan pilih tab Hitung untung.

Contoh perhitungan (angka ilustrasi)

Sebuah kaos dijual Rp89.000 dengan voucher toko Rp5.000. Misalkan total potongan marketplace 10% (angka ini hanya ilustrasi). Modal Rp52.000 dan kemasan Rp1.500.

RincianNilai
Harga jualRp89.000
Voucher toko−Rp5.000
Potongan marketplace 10% dari Rp84.000−Rp8.400
Kemasan & lain-lain−Rp1.500
Dana diterimaRp74.100
Modal−Rp52.000

Mencari harga jual minimal

Membandingkan beberapa skenario

Many new online sellers only realise they are losing money after a few months. The cause is almost always the same: the selling price is set at cost plus a little profit, without accounting for marketplace deductions, shop-funded vouchers, shipping and packaging.

Net profit can be worked out before a product is listed. The Marketplace Profit Calculator on KASKOW calculates it right in your browser, with no data uploaded.

Important

Marketplace fees vary by marketplace, product category, shop type and the programs you join, and they can change at any time. The starting numbers in the calculator are only examples, not official rates. Always check the latest rates in your marketplace's seller centre or official announcements.

Steps to calculate net profit

  1. Open the Marketplace Profit Calculator and choose the Calculate profit tab.
  2. In the Product section, enter the Selling price and Cost per item. Add the Shop voucher / discount, Shipping paid by seller and Packaging & other costs if any.
  3. In the Marketplace fees (editable) section, change Admin %, Service/program %, Payment % and Fixed fee Rp to match your shop's latest rates.
  4. Read the results: Payout, Net profit / item, margin and ROI appear right away.
  5. Fill in Units sold to see the total profit for many items at once.

If the result is negative, the calculator shows a loss warning. That is a sign the price needs to go up or costs need to come down.

Worked example (illustrative figures)

A T-shirt sells for Rp89,000 with a Rp5,000 shop voucher. Suppose total marketplace deductions are 10% (an illustrative figure only). The cost is Rp52,000 and packaging is Rp1,500.

LineAmount
Selling priceRp89,000
Shop voucher−Rp5,000
Marketplace fees, 10% of Rp84,000−Rp8,400
Packaging & other−Rp1,500
PayoutRp74,100
Cost−Rp52,000
Net profit per itemRp22,100 (a margin of about 24.8%)

Note that in this calculator, percentage fees are calculated on the price after the voucher. If your marketplace calculates fees differently, adjust the numbers so the result comes close to the breakdown in your seller centre.

Finding the minimum selling price

You can also work backwards. Choose the Minimum selling price tab, enter your cost and fees, then set a Target profit in rupiah or as a percentage. The calculator finds the lowest price that still meets that target after all deductions, rounded up to the nearest Rp100.

With the illustrative figures above and a target profit of Rp20,000 per item, the minimum selling price is about Rp86,700. Remember that percentage-based fees rise every time the selling price rises, so adding Rp1,000 of profit takes a price increase of more than Rp1,000.

Comparing several scenarios

Click the Scenario button to add up to three scenarios side by side, for example:

  • different marketplaces with different fee structures,
  • joining a promo program or not,
  • your normal price compared with a campaign price.

The scenario with the highest profit is marked Most profitable. Click Copy summary to copy the results of every scenario into your notes or a team chat.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the result differ from what reaches my balance? The calculator gives estimates. Actual deductions can differ because of rate changes, fee caps, rounding, promotions or other costs. Check against the order details in your seller centre.

What about advertising costs? Divide your total ad spend by the number of orders from ads, then add the result to Packaging & other costs so it is counted per item.

How do I work out the cost if I make the product myself? Use the Unit cost tab in the Finance Calculator, then use the result as the cost here.
