SKU Anda sendiri bisa langsung dijadikan barcode Code 128, karena format ini menerima huruf, angka, dan simbol.
Ciri SKU yang baik
- Singkat dan konsisten, misalnya pola KATEGORI-MEREK-PRODUK-VARIAN.
- Huruf kapital dan angka saja, tanpa spasi atau karakter khusus.
- Tidak memuat harga, karena harga bisa berubah.
- Hindari mencampur huruf O dan angka 0 di posisi yang sama.
- Unik: satu SKU untuk satu varian saja.
Langkah membuat SKU untuk semua varian
- Buka Generator SKU.
- Di Data produk, isi Kategori, Merek, dan Nama produk.
- Isi Nama varian 1, misalnya Warna, dan Pilihan varian 1 (pisahkan koma), misalnya Hitam, Putih, Navy.
- Isi Nama varian 2, misalnya Ukuran, dan pilihannya, misalnya S, M, L.
- Atur Susunan SKU: bagian mana yang dipakai dan urutannya, termasuk Awalan tetap atau Nomor urut bila perlu.
- Pilih Pemisah, Panjang singkatan, dan Huruf besar.
- Semua kombinasi dibuat otomatis: 3 warna × 3 ukuran menjadi 9 SKU. Nama dan varian disingkat otomatis.
- Klik Salin SKU atau unduh CSV untuk diolah di aplikasi lembar kerja.
Bila ada SKU ganda, alat menampilkan peringatan. Tambah panjang singkatan, aktifkan Nomor urut, atau ubah nama varian sampai semua SKU unik.
Isi kolom SKU di setiap marketplace dengan kode yang sama. Satu kode untuk satu varian di semua tempat memudahkan pencocokan pesanan dan stok.
Langkah membuat barcode dari daftar SKU
- Buka Generator Barcode dan pilih Banyak sekaligus.
- Pilih format Code 128.
- Tempel daftar SKU di Daftar kode (satu per baris). Anda juga bisa menempel satu kolom dari lembar kerja; hanya kolom pertama tiap baris yang dipakai. Maksimal 500 kode.
- Atur Tinggi garis, Lebar garis, Tampilkan teks di bawah, Ukuran huruf, warna, dan margin.
- Pilih Format file PNG atau SVG, lalu klik Unduh semua (.zip). Setiap file diberi nama sesuai kodenya.
Untuk satu barcode saja, pilih Satu barcode, isi Isi barcode, lalu Unduh PNG atau SVG.
Mencetak label barcode
- SVG paling aman untuk cetak label karena garisnya tetap tajam di ukuran berapa pun.
- Garis gelap di atas latar putih. Garis berwarna terang atau latar gelap sulit dibaca pemindai.
- Sisakan margin kosong di kiri dan kanan barcode.
- Uji pindai beberapa label dengan pemindai atau Pembaca QR & Barcode sebelum mencetak semuanya.
Kapan butuh EAN-13?
EAN-13 berisi 13 angka dan dipakai untuk produk ritel di toko dan minimarket. Generator Barcode bisa membuat gambar EAN-13 lengkap dengan angka cek otomatis. Namun, nomor EAN-13 untuk produk yang dijual di toko ritel umumnya harus terdaftar resmi melalui lembaga penomoran barcode yang berwenang. Periksa ketentuan dari toko atau distributor tujuan Anda. Your own SKU can be turned straight into a Code 128 barcode, because this format accepts letters, numbers and symbols.
What makes a good SKU
- Short and consistent, for example a CATEGORY-BRAND-PRODUCT-VARIANT pattern.
- Capital letters and numbers only, with no spaces or special characters.
- No prices, because prices change.
- Don't mix the letter O and the number 0 in the same position.
- Unique: one SKU for one variant only.
Steps to create SKUs for every variant
- Open the SKU Generator.
- Under Product details, fill in the Category, Brand and Product name.
- Fill in the Variant 1 name, for example Colour, and the Variant 1 options (comma-separated), for example Black, White, Navy.
- Fill in the Variant 2 name, for example Size, and its options, for example S, M, L.
- Set the SKU pattern: which parts to use and in what order, including a Fixed prefix or Running number if needed.
- Choose the Separator, Abbreviation length and Uppercase.
- Every combination is created automatically: 3 colors × 3 sizes make 9 SKUs. Names and variants are abbreviated automatically.
- Click Copy SKUs or download a CSV to work on in a spreadsheet app.
If any SKUs are duplicated, the tool shows a warning. Increase the abbreviation length, turn on Running number or rename variants until every SKU is unique.
Fill in the SKU field on every marketplace with the same code. One code per variant everywhere makes matching orders and stock much easier.
Steps to create barcodes from your SKU list
- Open the Barcode Generator and choose Bulk.
- Choose the Code 128 format.
- Paste your SKU list into Codes (one per line). You can also paste a column from a spreadsheet; only the first column of each line is used. Up to 500 codes.
- Set the Bar height, Bar width, Show text below, Font size, colors and margin.
- Choose PNG or SVG as the File format, then click Download all (.zip). Each file is named after its code.
For a single barcode, choose Single barcode, fill in the Barcode value, then Download PNG or SVG.
Printing barcode labels
- SVG is the safest choice for labels because the bars stay sharp at any size.
- Dark bars on a white background. Light-colored bars or dark backgrounds are hard for scanners to read.
- Leave empty margins to the left and right of the barcode.
- Test-scan a few labels with a scanner or the QR & Barcode Reader before printing them all.
When do you need EAN-13?
EAN-13 holds 13 digits and is used for retail products in shops and convenience stores. The Barcode Generator can create EAN-13 images with the check digit calculated automatically. However, EAN-13 numbers for products sold in retail stores generally have to be officially registered through the authorised barcode numbering body. Check the requirements of the store or distributor you are supplying. For internal use, such as warehouse stock and shelf labels, Code 128 with your own SKUs is enough.
